About us

COVID-19 UPDATE, 30 December 2020: We have extensive precautions in place but, in order to avoid any potential risk of virus transmission, we have decided to suspend Sunday morning worship in church for the time being. Please check this website regularly for further updates or follow us on FaceBook (Bewdley Methodist Church). All other regular activities (i.e. Knit & Natter, House and Church Fellowships, Sunday Club) are currently suspended. Our minister Revd Sue Levitt can be contacted on 01299 826641 or email revsuelevwork@gmail.com

Every Sunday we have morning worship at 10.30am.  These services usually last about an hour and include hymns and songs, prayers, Bible readings and a talk that helps us make sense of God's word in our lives today.  Once a month the service includes Holy Communion. Services are led either by a minister or an accredited Local Preacher.

We also have a Sunday Club for young children that meets once a month during the morning service.

Weekday activities include:

House Fellowship -  we meet in one another's homes for fellowship, Bible study and to discuss topical issues - 7.30pm every second Tuesday each month.  Throughout 2020 we are studying the book 'Holy Habits' by Revd Andrew Roberts.

Lunchtime Fellowship - a new initiative starting in February: a daytime opportunity to meet at church for fellowship over lunch and study 'Holy Habits'.  Third Tuesday of the month, 12.30-2.00pm.  Tea and coffee provided; please bring your own snack lunch.

Knit & Natter - a chance to get together over a cuppa and knit clothes and toys for charity - 2.00pm every second Thursday each month at church..
